God

We believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:1-3; Psalm 139; Matthew 28:19)

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory. (2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11)

Salvation

We believe that there is salvation in no name other than the name of Jesus. (Acts 4:12)

Children of God

We believe that all who receive Christ by faith are baptized in a death like His and born again into new life in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit and become children of God. (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 6:3; John 1:12)

Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. That alienation can be removed through God’s grace alone by faith alone in Jesus Christ, apart from works. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, there are none who do good, not even one. (Ephesians 2:1-10; Romans 3:12,23)

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s very words, His written revelation to man and that it is fully inspired, authoritative, and without error in the original manuscripts. It is our standard and rule for all decisions of life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Isaiah 40:8)

Heaven and Hell

We believe that people were created by God to exist eternally. We believe that Heaven and Hell are real and eternal realities. Hell is being in eternal absence of the grace and mercy of God. Heaven is being in eternal union with God. (John 17:3, Romans 6:23 Matthew 7:21-23; Matthew 25:31-41)

The Church

We believe that the Church is the body and bride of Christ and is made up of all born–again believers. We believe that the local church is God's primary vessel both for mission and discipleship. We believe that all followers of Christ are called to fulfill the Great Commission. (Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, Matthew 28:19-20)

Ministry Partner Agreement

In order for a church or ministry at any of our campuses to be able to be represented at their retreat in any way (host a table at the ministry fair, speak at a session/panel, or be recognized on the retreat’s website) they must be able to answer affirmatively to each of the following questions. This promotes Christ-centered unity in the body and allows all our retreat attendees to know that all ministries represented agree on these foundational points.

  1. Do you commit to making much of Jesus in all you do as a ministry?

  2. Do you commit to proclaiming Jesus as the only way to God the Father (that there is no other means by which the righteousness of Christ is imputed to believers) and that salvation comes not by our works (no other means or actions of our doing bring about our justification other than faith in Jesus’ final work on our behalf) but only by grace and through faith in the saving work of Christ alone?

  3. Do you commit to leading students to live for Jesus in everything they do?

  4. Do you commit to reaching students with the life-changing gospel of Jesus?

  5. Do you commit to leading students to obey Jesus in all He commanded as revealed in Scripture, handling the Bible as inerrant, sufficient, and our final authority?

  6. Do you commit to promoting the local church as God’s chosen vessel for reaching the world and thereby encourage students to be involved in a local church in the area?

  7. Do you commit to being gracious towards and a friend to all other churches and campus ministries that were able to sign this statement?
